I thought he said he needed full bags, not covers. Sure, the Carry-on Cover is $50, as is the BF transit cover (which he shouldn't use). But the Dahon Stow Bag is $100. In contrast, BF's "Size Small/Medium" travel bag is $59, which PROBABLY will fit his Dahon, is basically the same concept as the Stow Bag I think.
Anyway, I like the Carry-On Cover concept and I think it'd probably do fine for him.
