I went from GR9's and single straps and clips to GR9's with doubles to the plastic Haro Smallblock BMX pedals with Holdfasts and I much prefer the last combo. The nice wide strap feels like it's really secure combined with a nice wide platform pedal and it's light. Feel like I actually pedal more efficiently as well. Plus there are no clips to worry about so more toe clearance and no catching while walking bike. The plastic pedal has a nice concave and the surface is knurled and grippier than the slick metal GR9. Quick easy velcro adjsutment to fit different shoes and it's pretty golden for street use in regular sneakers.
