They did the exact same thing to me when I was trying to purchase a pair of Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLs from them during a recent sale. In the end, they told me they received the order but never entered it into their system. I am guessing this was because the wheels were sold out but they didn't want to say anything until I asked.
