Yeah Ive heard deltas are the best for slowing you down, if i did get some, id maybe upgrade the pads. The Sheriff stars are way out of my price range though, most pairs go for £500 min.

Chas roberts is a frame builder in Croydon London and is in the league with Mercian, Bob Jackson and co. They make very good tourers I believe but arent cheap either. They are slightly more expensive than mercians coming in at £1000 for a frame I believe, 1575 dollars in US money.
