Three Italian bikes, eh! Well, three Italian roadies from the sixties and seventies showed, from different sources, a few days apart and all three were delivered to my door.



Your OP has, sort of, special meaning for me. I have been thinking of painting two of the three bicycles black (the paint/art is either gone or very rough). But I was unsure of doing so because I was unaware that the Bottecchia bicycle was sold in black, in those days. The catalogs lists color choices as flamboyant. Is black flamboyant? Anyway...



Thanks for the picture of your black bike. Two Bottecchia bicycles will soon shed their silver and red coats, to slip into something black, sexy and inexpensive. Gonna paint both bicycles with a paint brush.
