Keep your eyes on the bike/tri forums. You'll find used GSC-10's (cadence/speed sensors) and HRM straps on the cheap. I got a second GSC-10 and mount on Amazon for $45 shipped if you want to go new. Just make sure the HRM strap is coded for the Garmin.
