Beer has improved a lot in Scotland, used to be dominated by Tennant's tastless muck,or syrupy newcastle and Scottish. Now there are lots of small breweries producing some very nice ales. Brewdog brewery at Fraserborough, are famouse for dangerously alcoholic beers, Tactical nuclear penguin, was the worlds strongest beer, 40% I think ,and got a good old condemnation from the department of health. They have since surpassed that for alcahol content.
But my favorite is Speckled Hen, brewed in Sufolk. in my opinion ,Scotland for whisky, England for Ale, Germany for Larger, USA, ? you lot tell me
