does your shifter have the extra 'lever' to change to friction or the 'thumb wheel'? if you have the wheel and the shifting/indexing is OK then try cleaning the screw and inside of the boss to remove all grease. then use a bit of locktite or take a pair of pliers to the screws on the screw and burnish or crush the threads just a bit to help them bite tighter.
if that does not help send it to me and I'll test ride it for a few months and see what I can do
I have the "thumb wheel" Does this mean I can make it friction too? Reading a bit on these shifters and it appears they were not very well thought of at the time. Sure look cool
I'm a bit Campy challenged on the older stuff....Gonna get some new pads for the Deltas this week and it appears I need to get a 3.5 allen wrench if I ever need to put a new cable in?
