I am very stoked about this bike...been very happy with the result. Still kind of messing with the fit, the steerer will remain uncut until I am 100% sure.

Your new IRO looks great! As to the front fender needing a mud flap, I have SKS (Esge) fenders on my bikes that extend considerably farther down the back of the tire such that mudflaps are unnecessary.
The fender is actually the quite lengthy but I had to put it in between my fork crown and the brake, which pushed it up. I need one of those problem-solver nut like you have.

I'm about 5'11"ish, and it is a 59cm. I am extremely happy with the sizing, top tube is perfect and the seat tube is longer than my previous bike, no more seatpost galore.
