One neat thing about riding on clean, white snow: if it's packed enough to be able to pick up some riding speed, and cold enough for the snow to be dry, the knobby studded tires will pick up a certain amount of the snow and shoot a neat little cloud of snow forwards from under the front fender. Picked up by the halo of the front light, it looks really cool.

Of course, then it blows backwards and starts collecting on the bike.
