They did the exact same thing I was doing, which was using a syringe to inject water into the ear. Except they knew how much pressure they could apply. I was using about half as much and was worried I might be putting too much pressure on the ear drum. Apparently I could have just kept going and saved myself half a day at the doctor.
I've had those. The last one was a couple of years ago, they flushed out a wax plug the size of a friggin peanut. What a drag that was. Nothing recently though.
