Don't whine about a 10 minute response time! Do you think that the guys can just instantly zap themselves to your friggin doorstep?
Call comes in, dispatcher confirms call over station speakers, guys suit up as they hit the truck doors, strap in, take off. They attempt to go a somewhat reasonable, cautious speed so as not to cause more accidents on the way to the scene. They show up, take note of whatever is on fire, and determine the best course of action to take.
All in 10 minutes.
