Maybe the lighting is different? I gotta wonder how much different one matte finish would be from the other. After all, it's a cost-saver finish. I bet they both do about the same thing to that chunk of metal.

Hand-brushed and full polish obviously are in a different class.

When I was in Chattanooga last year, I got a five-minute tour of the place. Got to see all the finish types next to each other. Hand brushed is the way to go if you can swing the $$$.00, unless you're going for the shiny look.
