There's a Home Depot at the end of the bike path that goes past my house. When I am feeling too lazy to ride to a real hardware store, I'll go there. They used to have a bike rack next to the front door, but it got stolen (probably for scrap). They haven't replaced it yet, and likely never will, but the current manager is good with bikes in the store.
Our local veterans building didn't have one until I pointed it out to the building manager. He bought a locally manufactured one and even remembered to pound down the bolt tops to make it more difficult to steal. I went to a wedding there last month and the rack was full.
My local school district has its main office along our city's main bike path. It has no bike rack. Neither does the county's education service district office. It's sad that the people who are charged with organizing the education of the next generation are not capable of getting to work by any means other than motorized couches.
