I will check again tomorrow; why let it go to waste? If not there, I will go and buy one this weekend.

Other than that, it was a nice commute at 50* F, but after a long rain Sunday. I just put on the Marathon Winter studded tires yesterday, and if colder, it would have been a perfect set-up for black ice…
The headlamp was gone this morning; I hope it was found by its owner.

I left this morning at 5:15 AM, 31* F with an approximate head/crosswind of about 12 mph. The Doppler looked clear on my route, so I took the road bike with the 23C tires. At about mile 4, a light, almost misty fine particulate snowfall began, and the road surface acquired a sheen. I was too far along to go back and switch to the beater bike with studded tires. So I rode slowly with the right foot unclipped, and would occasionally drag my neoprene shod foot on the road to check the traction. Fortunately the snow stopped after about three miles down the road, and the surface was dry for the final several miles.
