I converted both my bikes to SS (one 74 inches, the other 66 inches) tiring of cleaning and lubing the derailleur after riding in the rains. I'm sorry to report I lost both Cat 6 races on my way to work this morning. :-(

Not blaming equipment here...I love my SS.
