Rock on!

What happened to the cages on your pedals and the wrap around your bars? I could understand going with just platforms for preference. I ride with clipless pedals, but most of the time I ride without my cleats so they're practically just platform pedals.

I couldn't stand not having wrap on my bars, though, and I'd really want bar ends. Without wrap, I've just found my bars to be cold and slippery.

I hope you kept that old saddle, too. My friend had a brown suede-like saddle like that on his bike and I always wanted to buy it from him. I think they look so great.
