Actually the frame size might be an issue as I am a tall dude. I always want try to get a bike like this and bring it back to life as my project. I know I have the time to do it (I mean I'll take my time ..) but not sure if I have the skills to do so.

DO IT. It's the biggest frame they made for that style of bike. And it's really not in bad shape.
