44F and Rain... First time I had real rain in that temp. It wasn't as pleasant as I envisioned unfortunately. My tights kept me fine for lower half. Upper half had major drenching... (not from rain but from sweat) when I wore long sleeve jersey and rain jacket on top. After 14 miles sitting in train became damp and chill and not a pleasant experience. Also found out while the wool sock kept me warm, my shoe got pretty wet. Sock dried up in 30 minutes once in office but I am not sure how long shoe will take to dry up. (Have small heater here and been blasting it at the shoes)
I really need to look at some good weather proof jacket that can vent. Most of rain will come in around 35-50f in here. (if it is warmer, I could care less if I get wet from rain typically)

Other than that, I am happy I finally am on my 4th consecutive round trip of my commute. (30 miles each day...) Steps up from 3 mile round trip I started 6 months ago.
