I know it had a front brake because I hit it and flew off and slide down the hill on my arms and chest and have some awesome scars even now! Mostly on my elbows.
Next I think I inherited an older girl's schwinn or murray beach type single speed (it was creme and very heavy). My best memory of that bike, ironically, is also crashing while flying down a hill. Off road that time! I ended up with MTBs after that.

All the bikes I listed were bought at Ambridge Bike Shop. That guy remembered me and each bike my dad bought me every time I went in there, even though it was years between visits. I even went back and bought a bike from him when I was in college, and he still remembered. You were a lucky kid to have a Steelers bike in Steelers country!
