Zero G's have a progressive leverage ratio so the appropriate setup requires that the meaty part of the "bite point" to be further into the lever travel. So if you usually run your brake pads really close to the rim, you better have some strong hands to be able to stop. I prefer that my brakes engage later in their travel and I never have any issue with a lack of braking power that seems to be the problem.
