Pre NR Record rear derailleur info?

You always here about the NR line but what about just Record? I picked up a older Legnano Gran Premio about a month a along with a Fuji Suncrest MTB fixxer upper and Raleigh Technium frame/fork for twenty bucks. It was hard to keep my poker face but I did on that steal...I mean deal. I grabbed the Legnano since it had some Campy dt shifters and bracket and TA cranks and a Campy rear derailleur. I didn't really want to break out the magnifying glass while looking it over to see what group it was. So after I got home and looked to see what RD was on it. I never seen just a "Record" rd before and even after some looking around I don't get much info on it. Where did this fall into the line up and how can I tell how old this thing is? I don't see barely any on eBay to go off of on the value of it. I was going to use it on my 73 Raleigh Comp but decided to stick with the Huret derailleurs not to mention the pivot stop location is different also.
I took some pictures but my card reader isn't working so once I figure it out I'll up load some pictures. It's in amazing condition with absolutely no rust for being all chrome as there is no aluminum parts on it. The jockey wheels aren't cracked and spin buttery smooth. The only marking on it are "Catena 3/32" and "13-36" on the rear and "Patent Campagnolo" and Campagnolo Record" on the front. How long were these made for also?
