Questions about Krylon Appliance Epoxy paint

Some days ago I repainted the top of my washing machine with Krylon Appliance Epoxy. Sanded it with 120 and put 5 or 6 coats on, then "baked" it inside a closed car in the sun. This paint is hard, suitable for bicycles I think. I've searched here but other than some guys saying they used it, found nothing.
My questions are:
Can it be applied on bare metal or needs a primer?
Should I clear coat it?
Can it be sanded with 1000 and polished to a high gloss?
Is direct sunlight harmful to it?
Any downsides to it? (besides the limited color options)
Thanks.
