I don't think it's possible to get a "general" weight estimate - it depends on so much - including age, tubing, whether it's derailleur or a single speed conversion, the presence of lights and racks, etc. I currently own a mixte that is just over 20lb, and in the past I've owned one that was well over 30lb. Boston is full of them, and you may want to contact these guys if your area has a shortage.
