Last week I was on a through street when a lady stopped at a stop sign on a road to my right looked directly at me and pulled out. I grabbed a hand full of brakes and avoided her car. I then went one block further down the street only to have the exact same thing happen again with a lady stopped on the road to my right. Again the lady driving the car looked directly at me and then proceeded to pull out. I did not need to brake quite as hard, as I was not surprised this time.

I have had so many close encounters I do not normally recall them. This one was different in that the two instances were within one block.

No advice here except to keep doing what you are doing since you did avoid the accident. Good riding.
