I did a very similar setup for my "Centurionelli" set of pics:

But in the end, after all the fussing with lights and reflectors and such, I still think I get my best results outdoors under an overcast sky (which was often in Portland). I had all sorts of issues with my camera using the well-lit indoor studio setup, especially when I took shots of a biachi green frame. The camera (a Canon Pro1) kept reading the background as a soft green, even though I had it on manual and set the white balance using the backdrop. It looked fine in camera, but when I'd download it the file woould have a greenish tint to the background. Incredibly frustrating. It even did this using RAW files, and to this day I have no idea why.
For now I'll stick with cloudy days;
