I also wouldn't have told him what your price range is. If I were you I would bring someone with me if you do decide to go look at a bike. He might be expecting you to show up with that amount of money in cash. Next time just say "hey, when you get something in give me a call". "I'll have some friends bring me over to look at what you got."
