Well I am glad you have insurance. As far as it being any worse I guess the only thing that could be worse would be for you to be pushing up Daisey's. Seriously I hope you heal quickly and completely. How much damage did you do to the bike and what pedals were you using?
the shifters and seat have some cosmetic damage and the bar tape is wasted, the bike made out amazingly well thank god. the helmet is now two pieces and the gloves, jersey & bibs are all trash.
