My absolute lowest temp ride was 12F - and I wore a ski helmet and goggles. Anything below 28F is a bit tough. My feet, ears, and fingers suffer the most on cold rides.
Yup, that was a sweet CL find for $50. On the cold weather, it is a MUST to be covered..Not only that, one must no how long their comfort zone is. Not riding off into the sunset at 14 degrees...

I am doing 20 to 30 minutes when it the temps are almost single digits. Then it is stop time for rest, something hot, think about how sweet the ride was, and how sweet it is going to be getting back on it.
Desire has got to be up there to be out there in the frigid cold.. Lots of DESIRE..
btw, the Prelude is sneaking up the ranks,but still at the bottom. Stuff that came off my other bikes is getting passed down to the Prelude..Shuchs, she is sportin $50 race tires front and rear.
