I am getting banged around here for calling this bike a "beater"..We were both lucky on our $50 finds..The reason I called this bike a beater, was because I was on the lookout for one for the simple reason, my other bikes to me are too fine to do dirty riding, (bad weather, salty streets, raining,snowing). Just like your 87, it just happened to be in good shape, and with a minor fixing is up to a nice looking riding bike. But, up against my other bikes, it is a "beater"...
