I'll be 60 in two months. I've been riding most every day since 1974 when I sold off my last car. I'm on the second generation of a bicycle originally made in 1979 by Roger Jansen. His frame lasted 65k miles and I had it duplicated by Chris Igelheart of Portland, OR about 12 years ago. Jansens' bike was 100% French and I am always looking for old French components to keep in inventory as things wear out-some of the old French parts were pretty good and are worth replacing. I'm in Boise, ID and ride year 'round. The climate here is pretty mild compared to Iowa and Minnesota where I grew up. Winters there are brutal and year 'round riding is tough, but I was younger then.
