In the old days
proper wheels bloody-well had 32 spokes in the front wheel and bugger-all 40 in the rear. Since a
proper rear wheel only had one cog on the Sturmey-Archer hub anyhow a "dork" disk wasn't necessary (unless you count the cog spacer/shims as "dork discs.")
