ImChris - Unless you find a superb deal on an aluminum track bike of your preference, I'd say go with the IRO. You just can't possible go wrong with an IRO Mark V, especially in the Pro edition without braze-ons nor mounts. The IRO also has virtually no toe overlap (from what I experience) as opposed to more 'track oriented' bikes with epic toe overlap. I ride the Mark V Pro myself and I highly recommend it.

I have it narrowed down to the IRO Mark V Pro or a Trek T1. Like i said, there is a Velodrome about 45 minutes away from my house and i'm really interested in going to the beginner nights to check it out. Its cheap to ride at too!
