Good Evening to Everyone On The Board -
Welp, it's here. I just picked up my 2011 Record Ace
I swapped out the original double crank with a compact as we have hills here in The Bay Area, and I thought the original 53/39 chainrings were for areas that were either a) flat, or b) slightly downhill. I'm sure there's a theory that the larger chainrings are for stronger riders, but I shall reject that reality
Without knowing, I'm guessing it comes in right around 20 lbs or so. I did an uncalibrated comparison with my roommates aluminum Giant OCR-1 (w/105), and mine is only slightly heavier, it seems.
Regardless, Thank You Santa!
