BikeForums C&V Ride Information:

When: Saturday morning: 8am. Wheels roll @ 8:15.
Where: Meeting location is at the corner of 3rd and Trinity, "across from Fogo de Chao on 3rd".
Distance: 25.8mi, approx 1550ft climbing. Casual pace - No (intentional) drop.

Best of Austin- 25.8 miles, 1544'. Both urban and scenic, both bike route and wide shoulders on Texas Highways, this may provide the best "sampler" of Austin riding. Sites: SRV statue, Lance's house, Capitol & UT campus (optional 4 mile loop as it's near the end), Hill Country, rolling hills. Climbing grade maxes out around 7% for short distances.
