Someone at work mentioned that the winds were supposed to increase throughout the day-I hope that's not the case.
I rode my shortest possible ride this morning, under 2 miles, and even for that short time the wind was just amazing. I felt like I was going uphill on the flats, or being pushed out of my lane more times than I can count... in less than 10 minutes of riding. I was disappointed that we didn't get more snow, but I guess I'm glad we dodged a 'big one'.
I read that there could be gusts up to 50 MPH!!!
