This interaction was certainly rude, I guess I was more referring to the intent of the thread pre-derailment. I'll humor someone who politely wants to ask me questions about my chosen form of transportation, but the second they start hinting that there is more than friendly curiosity behind their reason for talking to me, I will gladly tell them to **** off. I have a pretty good bull**** detector, and have no patience for people who use phony politeness to smugly put someone else down. I also live in Minnesota, where this kind of behavior is rampant.
