My touring bike is currently in France, and won't get here before the weather gets better, so I foresee myself doing a short tour on my fixed gear. Should be fun, but I would probably get a lower gear ratio than you, currently at 42/16 and was thinking of going even lower. Definitely need to work on my packing list to get the load as light as possible.
