The levers can be put back to the right alignment (there's a 5mm hex bolt under the hood somewhere -- where exactly depends on whether it's Shimano, SRAM, or Campy). If all you did was skid, the internals are probably not damaged, but I'd take it in anyway.

The RD issue is more trouble. You may have damaged the RD itself, or bent the derailleur hanger, or both. Either one can cause shifting problems. Definitely take it in.
