If you do want to gain lean muscle mass, you will need to lift like a mad man and eat six or seven meals a day. A nutritionist can help. If you take in too many calories, you will gain fat which you do not want to do because it is hard to eliminate down the road.
I eat a roundabout 2200 calories a day, which is about 500 more than what I should eat to maintain my weight. I feel like it's mostly because I'm a teenager. My doctor's not concerned, so neither am I.
