You don't gain weight in the gym. You gain it in the kitchen. You can go lift all the weights you want and you aren't going to gain a pound (nor will you gain any muscle in the long run), unless you are eating a significant calorie excess. But I don't know why we're talking about weight gain on a cycling website! I am 42, 6'0" and 150 lbs. and I feel/look (can't see lower abs at the moment) about 5 lbs. overweight for me thanks to holidays and being a lazy bum lately. I need to cut a bit to look/feel my best.
