Absolutely. Now that vintage steel is all the rage, all of the big companies are now making "retro" models and there are a ton of johnny-come-lately frame builders emerging (which is a good thing). But I have a healthy amount of respect for all the European and American shops that have been continuously making classic steel frames through the dark decades of aluminum and carbon mass produced frames. If I decide to buy a new frame, it'll be from one of those guys.
