I just bought a NOS 105 cartridge headset today just for the crown race. Some of you may have seen this thread where I was searching for a proper crown race for my 600 sealed cartridge headset.

So now I have a NOS 105 headset with no crown race but at least I got my 600 complete.

Keith, my LBS was very unwilling to help. I brought the headset in and they told me there was no way they could help me find a race to fit because it was "an old threaded headset that isn't made any more" or something like that. I missed your last thread too, any tips for me finding the proper race? It probably isn't the same as the DA race but maybe your research was more successful than mine and you can point me in the right direction.
