The key to Yellowstone and other busy (Yosemite, Zion etc) National parks is to ride early and late while hiking midday. You only have to hike 1-2 miles to lose 98% of the tourist. Hike 1 more mile and lose everyone else. Gotta mix bike and hike to truly enjoy them. But if you have seen Yellowstone then go for Glacier Park, Mt. then head up to Canada for Banff, Waterton etc. This is my goal for August via Amtrak.
