Not a lot of stock 1X _ builds out there. All I can think of right away are the beach crusier-style bicycles that are typically 1 x 7 (I have one, use it for my 3 mile commute). I've also got a 5 year old Trek FX 7.2 that I recently modified to a 1 x 8. It had a riveted chainring setup that wore out, so I replaced it with a 50T single crank/chainring I got for cheap. It now runs as a 1 x 8 with a 11-32 cassette in the rear. Great utility and workout bike. It'll do OK on smaller hills, but I really need a road bike with a double up front for longer, hillier rides.
