The blinking mode is the most annoying feature of MS headlight. If I hadn't already have 3 MS headlights, I'd give this a shot. BTW, my solution to blinking is to run two MS light in SOS mode, together they produce a funky blinking pattern.
Hey, me too. I was running a "double SOS" light setup last evening, and then turned one light "on" at dark.

I do not have the experience to know how well these "button cap" switches wear. But one aspect of most any of these lights is the "having to cycle through" all setting to get to "low" or "off."

Wouldn't the "right way to do it be" - low/med/high/blink? This year, I won't care too much because I've wired one light to use "AAs" - so I'll have all the battery power I need - no matter if I travel or run "high" a lot.

I've also decided that "bouncing" a blinking Dinotte beam off of a water bottle on the down tube will be my "marker light." I get about 270 degrees of reflective range off a bottle. Don't know if it works, but its better than nothing.
