Not answering your question, and you probably already know this, but make sure you see everything you want to see in Lebanon and Syria BEFORE going to Israel (or the West Bank which Israel controls). Those countries won't let you in if there's any evidence of you ever having been in Israel. Of course, Israel won't take kindly to you having been to those two either, and having their passport stamps is a sure ticket to hours of harsh interrogation at the Israeli border, but you should eventually get in.
