I am planning on buying the Bionx 48 volt system when it comes out. I will use it on a fairly heavey long wheel base recumbent. If I am unhappy with the range I plan on putting on a rack over the back wheel and adding a 10 amp ping battery. I am wondering about the Bionx 500. That might be a more desirable set up for me also. With a fairing on my bike I think it might hold a fairly comfortble 25mph. Either system it has been proven realativly easy to add a extra battery.
