In a large pot, heat some oil and/or butter
trim the sprouts, but leave them whole. I cut a cross in the end to help them cook.
When the oil is hot, dump in the sprout so they sizzle, roll or shake them around to coat them and cover the pot
Give them a shake now & then as they scorch a bit
pour in about 1/4 cup diluted Worcester sauce & re-cover, letting them steam a bit.
Sometimes I add some onions halfway through
When done, eat ......
I tried it once ...... seemed awfully expensive.
We also have 2 good local ice cream places, so they get our $$
Have you been to Ashley's in NH? it's worth the trip
