Levers, CO2, tube, patch kit, multi tool, keys, phone, and food is a ton of stuff to cram into the center pocket of your jersey. I'd rather stick the things I might need while riding in my pockets and leave the rest for the bag.
I was pulling your chain. Sorry if you didn't take it that way, no harm intended. I'm old school, where the only thing you had under your seat was a spare sewup. Everything else went into the jersey. Since I'm not currently riding sewups, everything goes in the jersey. Repair stuff in the center pocket, phone/cash/artificial tears in the left pocket, food in the right pocket. This stuff doesn't make any of my jerseys uncomfortable, and I don't care what it makes me look like.
